Twist-Leaf Yucca
The Twist-leaf Yucca, also known as the Texas Yucca, is a plant native to the Edwards Plateau region of Texas. Boasting a high heat and water tolerance, the Twist-leaf Yucca thrives in Texas weather. The leaves are olive-green and twist more with age. During the spring, a flower stalk will rise from the middle to about 5 feet with white-white/green flowers.
Identification: Fairly short, 2.5 ft height x 2 ft width. Olive-green leaves, with possible yellow or orange leaf margins. Likes rocky limestone hillsides and grassy flatlands.
