The majority of the mammals here at Wild Basin prefer the cover of darkness to go about their business. Although we often cannot see them, they remain important members of the ecosystem here at Wild Basin. Some of these creatures may be "scary" to some, but just remember that these animals prefer to stay as far away from us as they can!

Scat and Tracks
A great way to determine which animals have been on and around the trails is by identifying the animals' tracks and scat. Whose scat is that? And to whom do those tracks belong?
